Scotland Regional Hospice holds its annual candlelight memorial service in November. The nondenominational service is held in remembrance of loved ones who have died in the past year. Those who have passed away while receiving hospice care with Scotland Regional Hospice will have their name read aloud and their families will have the opportunity to light a candle in their memory. Once those names are read, there will be an opportunity for anyone in the community to light a candle in memory of a loved one regardless of whether or not they were in hospice care.
