Chanel Carmichael joins Scotland Memorial Foundation

The Foundation would like to welcome Chanel Carmichael to our team.

Chanel joins us as our new Foundation Assistant and brings experience in non-profits and advocacy for community involvement. She is a Laurinburg native and enjoys promoting and helping her hometown. Chanel holds a Bachelor's degree in English with a concentration in Mass Communications from Elizabeth City State University. She's currently pursuing her MBA through DeVry University.

Chanel is a proud member of the National Association of University Women, Inc, and serves as the Laurinburg branch's Corresponding Secretary. She's also part of the National Society of Leadership & Success, Sigma Tau Delta English Honor Society, the NAACP of Laurinburg, and a member of the Jones Chapel Missionary Baptist Church.
In her spare time, Chanel enjoys photography, videography, graphic design, cooking, and traveling. She and her husband enjoy cooking family recipes together and spoiling her chihuahua, Coco.
