Laurinburg, N.C. -- Scotland Health Care System will be celebrating Nurses week starting May 6, 2022. The theme for this year is Rooted in Strength. Like many hospitals, nurses at Scotland Health have faced unprecedented challenges throughout the pandemic. In the last two years  our nurses and health care teams have faced difficult circumstances, even longer hours,  tears and fears.  Each time growing stronger and rooted in their commitment to patients and the community. Representing the frontlines in nearly every clinical setting, Scotland nurses deliver quality, culturally competent patient care and services to individuals’ families, communities, and populations.

“Now more than ever we want   to recognize, thank and support nursing at all levels in our health system” said Bebe Holt, Senior Vice President of Patient Care Services and Chief Nursing Officer. “To all our Scotland Health nurses in every department; we thank you for your service and commitment to our patients!”

There will be opportunities throughout the week for celebration, reflection, and recognition of the many different nursing specialties. Scotland Health recognizes and thanks each nurse for their commitment to our patients and community. We invite our community to join in celebrating the contributions of the nurses in our community.
