Shelly Lowery, MD, CMO of Scotland Physicians Network stated, “Although we have been administering the covid vaccination to pediatric patients aged 12 and up, we are pleased to be able to administer to a lower age group. We want to vaccinate as many children and adults who want the Covid vaccine as conveniently and efficiently as possible. Data proves the covid vaccination is effective by lowering the chances of being hospitalized or having major symptoms and complications. We continue to encourage community members to get vaccinated so we can continue to return to normal activities.”
