For more than two decades, the Lawson’s Gift Raffle has been a beloved tradition of the Hospice of Scotland County Golf Tournament. Created in memory of Lawson McCabe, this annual fundraiser continues to make a meaningful impact through generosity, remembrance, and community support.
Each year, the McCabe family donates a beautiful piece of jewelry to be raffled as part of the tournament. To date, the Lawson’s Gift Raffle has raised over $330,000 to support end-of-life care and bereavement services for patients and families throughout our community.
About the 2026 Raffle Item
The 2026 Lawson’s Gift raffle item is a stunning diamond pendant, featuring two natural diamonds elegantly set in six-prong vintage-style mountings. These sparkling stones are suspended from a 14 kt yellow gold rope chain, creating a timeless and classic look.
With a total diamond weight of approximately ½ carat, this pendant is not only a beautiful piece of fine jewelry—it is a deeply meaningful creation. It is one of the last pieces personally designed by Lawson McCabe, making it a truly special keepsake for this year's lucky winner.
