A COLONOSCOPY? YOU HAVE OPTIONS.

The evidence is staggering. Colon cancer is the 2nd leading cause of cancer-related deaths in the U.S. & 3rd most common cancer.

The good news is a colonoscopy at Scotland Endoscopy Center can help cut your chances of dying from colon cancer in half. Studies show that removing polyps (small growths) during a colonoscopy prevent colon cancer from developing in the first place. But early detection is key. That's why it's recommended that everyone get a screening starting at age 50. Those with a family history of colon cancer should be screened earlier and African Americans and Native Americans should be screened starting at age 45.
