Scotland Physicians Network consists of:

  • Six primary care
  • Two general surgery
  • Three ob/gyn physician practices
  • Urology practice
  • Nephrology practice

All practices listed above are operated by Scotland Health Care System. Each practice offers an efficient and unified approach to high quality patient care.

The professionals of Scotland Physicians Network are dedicated to the fact that there is nothing like your hometown physicians. These are medical providers you know and trust; physicians and advanced clinical practitioners who have chosen to join themselves to a larger group of medical providers and to Scotland Health Care System.

Each of the medical providers in these practices has the best interests of his or her patients at heart. They serve as the "medical home" to you and your family's health and well-being, providing quality, easy to access hometown healthcare with a personal touch. These caring physicians and their staff members have the skills and expertise you deserve and expect, along with all of the expertise and support Scotland Health Care System can provide.

Scotland Physicians Network is governed by members of the Physician Network Leadership Council (PNLC). This group partners with Scotland Health Care System management to ensure the success of the physician network and the integrated system as a whole. The PLNC identifies and oversees the implementation of correct operating principles for each individual medical practice and is composed of Scotland Health Care System administration, board members and physicians.

All of the SPN medical practices share the same standards for excellence, using an electronic medical record for seamless integration and coordination of care across the network. Two of the most important benefits to patients are:

  • Your electronic medical record contains your medical history and is available throughout the Scotland Physicians Network practices.
  • Your medical provider has more time to offer to patient care since he or she is less involved in the administrative running of the practice.

One patient, one record makes every visit to any doctor in the SPN more efficient and provides you, our patients, with excellent, quality care.

Our Patient Portal

Scotland Health Care System has implemented a new tool in that patients will use to manage their health care records anywhere and at any time through a service called MyScotlandHealth. This new portal was acquired at the same time as the conversion to the new medical health records system, Epic.  MyScotlandHealth is a safe and secure online program offered by Scotland Health Care System that enables patients to manage their health care by accessing lab results, exchanging messages with your doctor or refilling prescriptions in one convenient location.

To receive your access code, you will visit myscotlandhealth.org and select sign up now. You will enter your information and will receive an activation email within 48 hours. If you are a patient receiving care at Scotland Memorial Hospital or if you visit any of the Scotland Physician’s Network practices starting Saturday, February 2nd, you will be asked at check-in for an updated email address to enroll you into this new patient medical records system. After completing your registration, you will have access to many benefits MyScotlandHealth has to offer.

  • View lab results and test results

  • Refilling prescriptions

  • Scheduling appointments

  • Messaging your care team

MyScotlandHealth will be accessible by computer or by downloading the MyChart app on your Apple or Android device and selecting Scotland Health Care System. Our support team for MyScotlandHealth will be available Monday through Friday from 8:00 am – 5:00 pm by calling 1-910-291-7507.
