Scotland Health Care System is “On the Road in Laurinburg”, a WPDE television series hosted by Cecil Chandler and Amanda Sellers.

Beginning February 17th, On the Road in Laurinburg will air each Wednesday at noon. This show invites local businesses, event sponsors, and organizations onto the set, giving them a chance to present their information in a talk show format live from their location. Viewers are invited to tune in to watch the best features of Laurinburg and to enjoy the opportunity to learn something new about the Laurinburg community.

Along with Scotland Health Care System, On the Road in Laurinburg features the Laurinburg/Scotland County Area Chamber of Commerce, Scotland County Tourism Development Authority, City of Laurinburg, and Scotland County Schools to promote the city’s best features to the WPDE viewers.

Topics of each show will vary each week. Featured in the series from Scotland Health Care System will be the surgeon assisted orthopedic robot, Scotland Cardiovascular Center’s new cardiac service provided locally, Scotland Memorial Hospital’s high quality scores, upcoming events, and more.  Hear from local hospital physicians and hospital staff that show why Scotland County is a great place to live, work, and play.
