Established in 1988, Scotland Memorial Foundation plays an integral role in helping Scotland Health Care System achieve its mission of providing high quality, compassionate health care services. The Foundation is governed by a community-based, volunteer Board of Trustees.

Scholarships
Five young women will enter college this summer with established educational goals focused on healthcare and at least a $2,000 scholarship toward their college education, thanks to Scotland Memorial Foundation. Gifts to Scotland Memorial Foundation
Gifts remain a tangible expression of friendship and concern. Regardless of the size or nature of the gift, each donor shares a common desire to offer whatever he or she can give to alleviate the suffering of others. Whether providing free mammography screenings, scholarships, or helping a patient seeking emergency health care, gifts continue to assure Scotland Memorial Hospital's ability to provide high-quality health care.

Last year, the Foundation received a $100,000 grant from The Cannon Foundation to help renovate a building on the hospital campus for educational purposes. Click here to read the story of this grant.
