Scotland Health Care System is celebrated National Nurses Week by Giving Back
On Thursday May 11th, Scotland Health Care System is celebrated National Nurses Week by “Giving Back”.
“Nurses Week is an excellent opportunity for us at Scotland Health Care System to say “thank you” to local Schools of Nursing for allowing their students to do clinicals at our facility,” said Paula McKinney, Vice President of Patient Care Services and Chief Nursing Officer.
Gift baskets containing aromatherapy hand lotion, body cream, room spray and hand sanitizer; loofah bath sponge; large tote bag, pot holder and key chain (donated by Scotland Memorial Foundation), Scotland Health Care System t-shirt, coffee canister, drinking glass and pens was delivered by Scotland Health Care Nursing staff to the Schools of Nursing at Richmond Community College, Robeson Community College, Sandhills Community College, Northeastern Technical College, and the University of North Carolina at Pembroke.
This year’s National Nurses Week theme, “Nursing: The Balance of Mind, Body and Spirit,” is about celebrating nurses who lead the charge for health and wellness.
